When authorities arrived at the scene, they found the victim lying under the track which was about 20 feet above him. He was transported to a nearby hospital with severe injuries.
The roller coaster is currently closed until an investigation can be completed. A spokesperson for the park claims that the coaster was in good working order at the time of the accident. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is investigating the accident to determine exactly what happened.
