The SuperLawyers process
Qualifications for Super Lawyers require nominations from a peer or as part of the research process. On an annual basis, attorneys nominate peers they have witnessed firsthand in courtrooms nationally.
Research begins for attorneys who have received certain honors, achieved tangible results, or gained additional credentials that are indicative of significant peer recognition and professional accomplishments.
Peer evaluation by attorneys’ practice areas commences. Candidates who are selected from their practice areas are subject to a rating scale of one to five. Those achieving the highest scores subsequently receive SuperLawyers recognition.
